glock 30 45 cal

Glock 30 45 Cal - Here's what you need to remember: The Glock 30 is one of the smallest handguns chambered in .45 ACP. It has an overall length of 6.97 inches, a width of 1.38 inches, and a slide width of 1.12 inches.

The powerful and lightweight Glock pistol is a blend of new and innovative technology. The Glock 30 subcompact pistol combines the .45 ACP round, revolutionary products, and modern technology. The result is a gun that is more stealthy when fired, with less recoil.

The .45 Automatic Colt Pistol (ACP) was designed by the prolific gunsmith John Moses Browning. The US Army's experience with 38. The fight against Filipino insurgency, sometimes hand-to-hand, divided the fighters into two categories: the fast and the dead. A single wound from the .38 Long Colt was often not enough to remove the insurgent before he fell to the death knell with the rifle.

Got My First Handgun! Glock 30 Sf Gen. 4, .45 Acp. What Do You Guys Think?

In response, John Browning developed the larger, heavier .45 ACP. The standard .38 Colt standard sent 180 pounds of target energy. The .45 ACP, on the other hand, easily transmits twice as much energy. Along with the M1911 automatic pistol, also a Browning design, the .45 ACP was the dominant caliber in the U.S. military for more than sixty years.

The Glock pistol, designed by Gaston Glock of Austria, was a revolutionary, striker-fired pistol that featured low-capacity magazines, reliability and simplified designs. Designed to fulfill the Austrian Army's contract for a new service pistol, the original 9mm Glock 17 was a worldwide success.

After the success of the Glock 17, the company gradually expanded its line into other calibers and types of pistols, especially compact and subcompact. The ecosystem has grown to include everything from 9mm pistols to 10mm pistols. As a result, it was inevitable that Glock would eventually release a subcompact .45 ACP, the Glock 30.

The Glock 30 is one of the smallest handguns chambered in .45 ACP. It has an overall length of 6.97 inches, a width of 1.38 inches, and a slide width of 1.12 inches. Height is 4.8 inches. The Glock 30 is 3.78 inches long, as opposed to the Glock's 4.61 inches. The 30 pistol weighs 23.81 ounces unloaded and 33.69 ounces fully loaded. Like other Glock pistols, the Glock 30 features a polymer grip with a Melonite-enhanced barrel.

The difference between the two widths is entirely due to the G30's use of the .45 ACP round. The G30 magazine accommodates ten .45 rounds in two columns, an impressive format. . Like all semi-automatic pistols, the Glock will accommodate an extra round in the chamber in addition to a full magazine.

Every Glock pistol features the company's best-in-class trigger system, with three built-in trigger systems. A drop safety prevents the Glock from accidentally discharging after a fall. Meanwhile, the firing pin and Trigger safety ensure that the gun will only go off if the trigger is pulled too hard, and will not go off if the user reduces the pressure before reaching the required twenty tons. The Glock model does not use a manual safety.

The combination of firepower and concealability make the Glock 30 an excellent backup pistol for law enforcement or a concealed carry pistol for those who can legally do so. Despite its small size, the G30 does not lack raw power. Glock's subcompact .45 has less muzzle velocity than other larger caliber, smaller pistols. The recoil of the .45 ACP round, is generally considered to push back the recoil in general as less than one might expect from a light pistol. Powerful, reliable and controllable, the G30 may be the ultimate Glock pistol.

Kyle Mizokami is a San Francisco-based writer who has appeared in The Diplomat, Foreign Policy, War Is Boring and The Daily Beast. In 2009 he founded the safety and security blog Japan Safety Watch. This is my second Glock pistol, and I have to say that I don't think any other pistol will ever replace my model 26 as my favorite pistol. I now have two favorite guns. When I decided to buy a 45 ACP pistol, there was no doubt that it would be a Glock. I was reluctant to buy a model 30 (considering I already have a Glock sub-compact). At first, I wanted to buy a model 21. I was able to find a model 26 and really liked it, and its size is why I went with the model 30. It really looks amazing. I guess you can say that about all Glocks though. I have to admit, I hit the nail on the head with this one though.

For nearly 30 years, I have carried Glocks on the job as a federal agent and in personal life. 30 Gen 4 comes out, I bought it. I must say that this model is the end all and brings the perfect balance of accuracy, size, firepower and performance. He is a keeper.

I didn't buy my Glock 30 from a Glock store, but no matter where I decide to buy one, I will buy one. It's a great gun to shoot for fun or defense.

I retired from LEO and never carried a Glock during my time. I bought my first Glock (Model 22) last summer after being retired for several years and I love it, I have fired the Glock 30 a few times and I love the .45 ACP cartridge. Needless to say, the Glock 30 met my expectations perfectly.

I found a very low price blue at a dealer in Texas and brought the handgun home.

Glock 30 Gen 3 45 Acp G30

This is my second Glock and my 1st .45. Before I carried a G22 .40 and never thought about replacing it. After shooting this gun, I now think differently, as the G30 shoots very well with less recoil. I think the .45 hits hard, but I really can't tell the difference between the G30 and my friends G19. 10e Mags can be replaced with G21 Mags and fitted with X-grips. Great buy!

Just put 40 rounds in my new Glock 30 SF. This gun is a workhorse, accurate and .45ACP with powerful stopping power. I am very happy.

This is my fifth Glock. The Glock Store is a great place to do business. No need to drive G21 in 10 max Commiefornia units. The G30SF carries 10 plus 1 round in a highly concealed carry case for EDC. And it's still a good shot. Step up to the TruGlow fiber-optic/night light and you have a winner. Glock Perfection - it's not just a sentence, it's a fact.

Glock 30 30rd Magazine - After a nice break I'm back with a review. To start off the new year, I think it's only fitting that I give an overview of one gun that deserves a review. In April 2008 I bought my first pistol. As someone looking for my first concealed carry gun, my interest peaked at the Glock 36. "We don't have any," said the man behind the gun. Instead he reached down and picked up a similar black pistol and placed it on the table. I grabbed the gun with both hands and pointed it at the ground with the front sight pointed at the rear hole. Holding the magazine filled my palm, and the balance was unnatural. "That feels good," I thought. It was the 3rd generation Glock 30SF in 45 Auto.

It's been over six years since it was purchased, and I still carry the Glock 30SF (G30) daily. I can safely say that I keep mine on my person for at least 300 days a year. The remaining sixty-five days will consist of not leaving the house or carrying any other weapons. But what about shooting? I put about 2000 rounds of factory ammo through the tube. I started reloading in 2009 and completed the year with 3514 reloads. As of 11/19/2014, 14,830 reloads have been placed in the pistol, all in 200 and 230 gr. loaded Mostly 230 gr. cargo, but some interesting statistics are in order. Half and half between the two loads, I put about 454 pounds of ammunition through the G30. I went through six recoil spring assemblies, three slide stops, and at least 8 pounds of smokeless powder. In conclusion, I know a thing or two about the G30.

While my reviews are mostly informative and educational about firearms, this one is an exception. There are countless reviews of Glocks, and there isn't much I can add without beating a dead horse with a sausage several times. Instead, I'll focus on the pros and cons of the G30 as they relate to my experience.

Sgm Tactical, Glock 21/30/41 Magazine, .45 Acp, 26 Rounds

To get started, let's get some bugs out of the way. This item is a block. If you're looking for a compact solution for your first concealed carry pistol, get the G30. I am like that because I am stubborn about such things. Pistols don't age well. Given the wide range of calibers and designs now offered, if I were to buy again, I would consider other pistols more. You may have heard the phrase "dressed to the gun." With the G30, you better dress well around your gun, as it won't tolerate a slim polo shirt and pants. This is a pistol type, the waist of the pants is 1 inch larger than normal and needs high quality leather to provide enough support to the waist.

Meanwhile, let me tell you a little about my shipping system. Galco's Royal Guard IWB in the holster was my first and only G30. It was so good that I can and will buy more Glaco holsters for other guns. My magazine pouch is a Gould & Goodrich 851 magazine belt carrier. The leather has developed a beautiful shine after many years of wear and durability is equal to Galco. Finally, we have the gun belt. Mine is a 1.75 inch belt ordered from Thebeltman.net. A G30 with two extra magazines will hurt your body if done wrong. There are belts and then there are gun belts. If you want to carry it every day, find a belt at Thebeltman.net. I have three years, my back is fine.

Back to the pistol. As you can see from the pictures, my G30 is not fully stocked. The one conversion/upgrade I did was a Storm Lake barrel. Since most of my loads are lead, I discount all the potential dangers associated with the well-publicized dangers of shooting lead. Except for the barrel, what you see is what you've seen before. Stock sight, original mag release, ejector, extractor, trigger, fire control group, all original. Most of the wear is directly on the face and inside the slide. The G30 is my all-purpose gun. I train, practice stealth photography, shoot, read, admire, and always carry.

Greatest asset: pistol shooting. It's a soft-shooting 45 if there ever was one. Six years after my first impression, I still believe that the G30 is one of the best examples of pistol balance. If it is correct, it is. Well, the Glock is borderline ugly, but it's ... so ... right. I shoot Glocks and other pistols, but I will always respect the G30 for its ease of shooting.

Promag Polymer Drum Magazine Glock 17 19 9mm Black 30 Rd.

Although my example works with almost all industrial ammo, I have noticed a tendency to get bogged down in reloading from time to time. This is usually due to the arrows being slightly further apart to reduce the lead. Other issues encountered are the result of case chewing, which is rare for brass that has been reloaded 25+ times. The reliability of the Glock design is well known. Most of the minor defects I have encountered with custom pistols can be attributed to reloading. An example of a gun that choked on factory ammunition was on Christmas Eve 2014. I did my best on a rainy day putting 220 rounds through the iron. I have had five separate incidents of the slide closing in a partially full magazine. To be fair, it rained, magazines were thrown into mud pits, and there was as much dust in the action as dirty magazines in the gun all day. And that was after 140 models were contaminated with lead cargo. The factory ammo that caused the problem was the Remington 230gr. JHP (L45AP7). This shows that any weapon can go wrong with less than ideal ammunition and environmental conditions.

But a few failures out of 15,000 is not bad. The Glock 30SF is by far the most tested and evaluated gun I have done or will do. Even though it's not the best gun, I still like to shoot it. There are thirty types from 230 gr. The JHP Golden Sabers I have on hand are also unconvincing. If I stop collecting 30, I will never stop. Several defensive pistols work as a variety of recreational weapons. So for a trip to the range, the metal in the woods, or the shops in the local parking lot, check out the Glock 30SF. Better yet... take one.

Glock 30 45 Acp Review - Say hello to the new Glock 30SF pistol. Introduced at the 2008 SHOT Show, the new striker-fired pistol features a polymer short frame for improved concealment and ease of shooting.

Chambered in .45 ACP, this rifle is sure to be popular with loyal fans looking for an incongruous and lightweight rifle.

Based on the original Model 30, the SF was a narrow double-barreled pistol for the legendary John Moses Browning printer cartridge.

Glock G30 Gen4 Vs Smith & Wesson M&p 45 Shield M2.0 Size Comparison

This version of the pistol has about 3mm shaved from the back to increase the overall size of the pistol. It fits the human hand better than the great-looking grip on the standard Glock 30.

While 3mm may not sound like much, trust me - you can feel the difference in your hands. The gun feels great to me and I'm able to get my finger in the sweet spot on the trigger. I love so much.

This pistol has proprietary Glock rails (not Picatinny rails). Fortunately, the popularity of Glock pistols made the company inclined to equip them with this non-standard attachment system.

Need to know that this gun has a magazine release and only the standard left side. The Glock 21SF introduces unrivaled security, but this model isn't ambidextrous. This can be an important detail for left-handed shooters.

The Glock 30s For Concealed Carry

Glock suggests that pricing will be in line with their other models, and they expect to start shipping these guns to dealers by mid-year.

I hope this becomes a popular weapon, but time will tell. Glock hinted that the pistol would become a favorite of plainclothes police and security forces in the United States. While that may be true, I predict that many, if not more, people would prefer this gun to a legal stash.

As of June 2021, the 30SF pistol is only available as a Gen3 pistol. Glock did not share any information that would lead me to believe that there was any intent to install this version of the pistol. Trim to Gen4 or Gen5.

Glock 30 45 Acp Review

Also, Glock doesn't seem to have readily available optical models. With red dot sights on pistols like the Glock 43X, I hope to see a MOS version of this pistol in the future.

What Makes The Glock 30sf Special (or Why You Might Hate It)

After the 30SF came out, some shooters discovered that you could use the frame with a G36 pistol slide. The result is a thinner and lighter pistol that retains the features of the G30SF.

Lighter and thinner are two descriptions that many in the self defense market are looking for. Hence the popularity of small firearms such as the 9mm Glock 43.

When modifications stuck in the shooting world, Glock took notice. In response, the company released the 30S.

G30S is composed of G30SF frame and G36 carriage. This pistol seems to be more popular than the original 30SF.

Pat Cascio's Product Review: Glock 30 Pistol

Richard Johnson was an amateur gun writer, historian, and most importantly - a father. He's done a lot of crazy things in his life, but quitting his job as a police officer to pursue his passion for writing about guns is the smartest thing he's ever done. He created the site and continues to manage its operations. In my opinion, the Glock 30's are unmatched in the way they are designed. It comes with a nice concealer, and the larger grip not only provides room for more ammo, but also helps with controlled return. This is a great option.

I have a big but 30S arm with Pearce handles that fit great and provide ultimate power in a small frame! ! ! ! I love so much!

I fired a few glocks from the "Baby Glock" (9mm G-26) to bigger glocks with bigger frames, and I found the .45 Cal G30S. Fits my hand size. Sometimes I use the Glock shotgun glove, the combination of the glove and the gun makes shooting comfortable. The recoil is normal Glock gloves, and Glock gloves just make shooting fun. The only accessories I make for the 30S are practical/functional. I upgraded to the 13th round magazine for more power. Added night vision reduces draw for a smoother gun. Some accessories are just glitzy glitz and not worth the money. Best to discuss with your shooter what is good and what is bad. My blacksmith is a Glock, started to finish, and so far the transition is in progress. The G30S is a good stealth weapon, it has 0.45 strength against people and is just a good defense.

Glock 30 45 Acp Review

I was a fool at first, but this is my favorite Glock. My daily pickup is to hand over my Glock 30s. Easily carry it all day and forget I'm holding it. Shooting comfortably, my Gen4 G27 is my carrier of choice, but is now my second choice. I love my Glock 30S!

I Found This Old Glock Review Of A 30 Year Old Glock 21

This gun is an excellent choice for everyday use. It's small but well balanced. I'm a 6ft 5in guy of average build. It's easy to conceal, it fits in my big hands, but my wife and mom can easily handle this gun. It skips a bit, but there are some training sessions. you will die. all the time. I can score 4 goals as a team with this gun in my 50's. It's reliable and well made. I was never interrupted or stuck. I've gone through over 5,000 rounds in each gun. Type: cheap steel case and high quality brass round I once dropped in mud and covered it with mud, then sprayed it with bulldozer scissors no problem. I've never left home without a Glock. Trust it to protect my family and community 24/7. I highly recommend taking 30 seconds a day!

This gun with the right hand holster will not print. You'd think there would be problems due to double printing, but take my word for it. It is not.

I am very happy with you! I had her a few years ago and decided on 30 because I always had small arms. This is small enough to fit me perfectly, but still has 0.45 cal of power. I highly recommend it to anyone - small hands, normal hands or large hands. :)

I have owned 2-30S .45 caliber Glocks for the past 10 years and absolutely love both. In times of weakness, I allowed myself to be traded from the start. But I missed it so much that I bought another one. Like the first pistol, it's reliable and probably the most accurate I've ever used. Granted, I spent over 9 million on 45 cal Ammo, but the extra fun was worth it. BTW, despite the old myths, 0.45 recoil is manageable even for my 70+ year old arm on rapid fire. Even at my age, I can still make a 2" stretch at 25 feet. If you can lease one in your range, do so at your own risk, because if you can find a "previous owner," you could spend well over $550 as a new owner, or $375 to $400 for a used 30S.

Thoughts On Glock 30s?

I used to have a Glock 19, now I have a 30. It's heavier, but when used with my IWB holster, it's a powerful and easy to carry weapon. I put in a 19 lb spring/stainless steel guide. It does control the rotation. It is the most accurate, 230 grains, 115 grains, 9mm. Watch out for bad guys. When I first picked up a Glock 30 a few years ago, it was like holding a potato. Grip all over my hand, it seems

Compared to other pistols I've held in my hand. Not bad, just better than most. I love it so much that I bought one after only a few months.

Full Demo: Most of the pistols I review are new to me and my reviews are all about first impressions. This is not the case. I owned the original G30 before the 30S was released, and in 2014 I sold my G30 and got the G30S. It is lighter and thinner than the original model and is a pistol. A .45 slider in a compact frame feels fine to me. Aside from being chambered in .45 ACP, the Glock 30S is probably my favorite pistol of all time.

Glock 30 45 Acp Review

The first and last reason to consider a Glock pistol of any kind is simplicity and reliability. There is no simpler and more reliable pistol on earth than the Glock. The G30S, on the other hand, is for concealment, a scaled-down version of the Glock 21 duty pistol. So you might consider the G30S, as it's easy to hide (it's slightly smaller than the G19).

Glock G30S 45 Auto (ACP) 3.78in Black Pistol - 10+1 Rounds - This pistol offers a lightweight, easy-to-conceal option for law enforcement and concealed carry enthusiasts. Designed for high-end law enforcement, the latest addition to the GLOCK lineup offers a respectable history of consistency. Reliable and powerful in safe performance. 45 auto ammo, this is my second Glock pistol. And I must say I didn't. I don't think any pistol can replace my Model 26 as my favorite range gun. I now have two favorite range guns. When I decided to buy a .45 ACP pistol, there was no doubt that it would be a Glock. I was a little hesitant about buying a Model 30 (considering I already own a Glock subcompact). I originally planned to buy a model 21, owned a model 26 and was very happy with it. And its size was the reason I continued to choose the Model 30. It's really an amazing shooter. I guess as you can say about all flowers, I have to admit I hit the nail on the head with this one.

It's been about 30 years since I worked for Glocks as a federal agent and in my personal life, when the 30 Gen 4 came out I bought it. And it's the perfect balance of accuracy, size, firepower and practicality. It's a goalkeeper.

I didn't buy a Glock 30 from a Glock store, but wherever you decide to buy it, buy it. This is a great pistol for shooting fun or self defense.

I am a retired LEO and have never carried a Glock in my entire career. I bought my first Glock (model 22) last summer after several years of retirement and have enjoyed it very much. I rented a Glock 30 a few times because I loved it. Ammunition 45 ACP. Needless to say, the Glock 30 meets my needs.

This is my second Glock and my first .45. Before that I carried a G22. 40 and never thought of changing it. After shooting this gun I now think differently, as the G30 shoots very easily for selected shots with minimal recoil. But I can't tell the difference between my G30 and my friend's G19. The 10rd mag can be replaced with a G21 mag and can be replaced with X-grips. Great buy!

Just put 40 rounds through my new Glock 30 SF. This pistol is a workhorse. Very accurate and the .45ACP has stopping power. I am very happy with it.

And then you have a Glock Perfection winner - not just a slogan. But it's true in my opinion, Glock 30s are unmatched in the job they are designed for. It hides well and the large grip not only allows room for more ammunition. But it also helps with recall management. It was a great purchase.

I have big hands, but the 30S with Paris grips fits perfectly and delivers maximum power in a small frame!!!! I absolutely love it!

I've shot many Glocks, from the "BB Glock" (G-26 in 9mm) to larger Glocks in larger frames, and I've seen the G30S .45 Cal. I sometimes use Glock shooting gloves and the combination of glove and gun makes shooting comfortable. Recoil is typical of Glocks, and with Glock gloves, shooting is fun. The only accessories I use with the 30s are practical/practical. I upgraded to a 13 round magazine for more firepower. Add a night sight There is a low trigger pull that fires the gun. Some extra parts are just flashy and not worth the money. The best thing to do is to consult with your gunsmith about what is good and what is not. My gunsmith used a Glock from start to finish. And even with the changes in the works, the G30S is a well-hidden weapon. It has .45 firepower that will be a real stop and good overall defense.

I didn't know much about it at first, but this is my favorite Glock. My daily carry option gives me my Glock 30. Wear it all day so comfortably you forget you're wearing it. Comfortable to shoot, my Gen4 G27 is the go-to option. But now it is my secondary choice. I love my Glock 30S!

This gun is an excellent choice for everyday carry. It is small but well balanced. I'm a big guy, 6'5", medium build. Very easy to conceal and fit my big hands. But my wife and mom could handle this gun easily. It was a little scary but a little practice at a distance. You will die every time, I was able to get 4 in consistent groups at 50 yards with this gun. Reliable and well built I have never had a problem with feeding or jamming. I put over 5,000 rounds through all types. G guns, put through cheap steel cased and high quality brass bullets. I was once covered in dirt and sand. Still have to shoot fighters. No problem. I never go home without a Glock. I trust it to protect my family and community 24/7. I recommend 30s for daily carry!

This gun will not print with a proper holster. You'd think that because the mags are double-stacked, printing would be a problem. But take my word for it, it isn't.

I am very happy with my baby! I have had this for a few years. And decided to choose the age of 30 because I always had small hands. It is small enough that it suits me perfectly. But it still contains 0.45 calories. I recommend it for everyone - small hands, normal hands or big hands :)

I have owned a Glock 2 - 30S .45 caliber for the past 10 years and love both. In times of weakness I allowed myself to trade with the first. But I missed it so much that I bought another one. As a first gun it is reliable and is probably the most accurate pistol I have ever fired by hand without an aid. True, I paid more than 9 million for the 45 cal bullet, but the added fun was worth it. BTW, regardless of the old myths, the recoil of the .45 is quite manageable. Even my 70+ year old hands fired quickly. Even at my age I was able to make a 2 inch group at 25 feet if you could rent one at your range. You do so at your own risk. Because you can shell out over $550 for a new one or $375 to $400 for a used 30S if you can find "used".

I used to carry Glock 19s, now carry 30s, it's heavy, but my IWB holster is a powerful and comfortable carrying weapon. I put a 19-pound spring/stainless steel guide rod on it, it controls the recoil very well. It is extremely accurate, and the 230-grain slugs are stunted by the 115-grain 9mm.

Glock 30 22 Round Magazine - The KCI® .40 S&W 31-Round Polymer Magazine for the Glock® 22, 23, 27, 35 allows you to equip it for training without breaking the lock. This aftermarket magazine features polymer and steel construction for increased strength and longevity. A heat-treated chrome wire silicon spring and long-lasting polymer follower ensure smooth, reliable feed in high-pressure and protective areas. Also, the clear spot holes provide a view of the rounded calculations on the wing. As with many newly expanded magazines, this magazine may need to be loaded and reloaded several times before it fully accepts it. Loading all the extended magazines can be difficult at first, so we always recommend getting a dedicated magazine loader to give you more start-up time and less stress on your equipment. Additionally, KCI products come with a lifetime warranty. Order today!

Sale 5 Pack Of Glock Magazines

You don't have to buy a product once you know the price. You can easily remove the item from your cart. The magazines failed to feed the Glock 22 when mounted in the CAA MCK chassis. I bought 6 and all 1 shot wonders loaded 5+ rounds.

The gun runs great when it comes out of the chassis. The chassis seems to create enough drag to spoil the feed.

I bought 4 of these to use in my Sub 2000. I started with 25 rounds in each magazine and had one misfire in 100 rounds. I loaded 2 mags with 30 rounds and no malfunctions. I haven't used them on my Glock 22 or 23 but will post a review after I try them.

I bought 4 of these and a .40 S&W AR build based on a small TN Arms Tac-9. They work perfectly when they go well in the magazine. I was worried about spring damage when fully loaded and bought Glock springs. The original ETS springs performed better than the Glock replacement.

Magpul Pmag 27 Gl9 9mm 27 Round Magazine For Glock Pistols

I love this mag fits perfectly in my glove box 23 and feeds my ammo very well. The standard is A-1. I want to buy some when they come back in stock

This mag will take S&W .40 ammo, but will not fit the S&W SD40 VE. The magazine is very large.
